This section includes long -term markets, orchards and farms. They may sell produce, and products and/or have animals for viewing or petting.
CSA's - Community Supported Agriculture.
What is it?
Community Supported Agriculture has become a popular way for consumers to buy local, seasonal food directly from a farmer.
Here's how it works: a farmer offers a certain number of "shares" to the public. Usually, the share consists of a box of vegetables, but other farm products may be included. Interested consumers purchase a share or sometimes called a membership or subscription, and in return receive a box, bag or the like of seasonal produce each week throughout the farming season.
